This position is designed for an experienced educator who will provide job-embedded professional development, mentorship, and instructional coaching to classroom teachers to ensure high-quality Tier 1 literacy instruction. Minimum Qualifications: * Valid MN Teaching License K-6 * Completion of READ Act training with an MDE-approved provider * Minimum of 3&#8211;5 years of successful elementary classroom teaching experience, with a strong background in literacy instruction * Demonstrated knowledge and experience with the Science of Reading and structured literacy * Experience implementing UFLI, CAREI, or similar evidence-based literacy programs Key Responsibilities: * Model effective literacy instruction using UFLI, CAREI and Science of Reading-aligned practices within K&#8211;5 classrooms * Observe and provide feedback on literacy blocks to support high-quality Tier 1 instruction * Plan and deliver targeted professional development sessions for K&#8211;5 teachers on evidence-based literacy practices * Mentor and support teachers in refining literacy instruction and classroom implementation * Collaborate with administrators and instructional staff to align literacy instruction with district goals and state standards * Conduct classroom walk-throughs to collect data on instructional practices and student engagement * Analyze student achievement data and use it to inform coaching cycles and professional development * Assist in the development and refinement of literacy block structures, instructional materials, and assessment tools * Serve as a resource for current literacy research and best practices Skills and Competencies: * Deep understanding of foundational reading skills and structured literacy * Strong interpersonal and communication skills * Ability to lead, coach, and motivate adult learners * Effective data collection and analysis skills * Ability to collaborate with teachers, specialists, and administrators * Skilled in differentiating support to meet the needs of diverse learners and educators Physical and Mental Demands, Work Hazards Works in standard office and school building environments. Position Overview:
