Saint John the Baptist Catholic School in Jordan is looking for a kind, reliable, and faith-filled preschool assistant teacher to support our preschool classroom beginning in fall 2025.
In this role, you will:
Support the lead teacher in creating a warm, engaging classroom environment
Help implement daily routines, activities, and lessons
Supervise and interact with children during learning and play
Encourage spiritual, social, and academic growth through positive guidance
Collaborate with staff and communicate with families in a respectful, friendly way
Whether it’s story time, centers, lunch, or an art project, you’ll be part of a team helping each child feel loved and help them grow to be who they are meant to be.

What We’re Looking For:
A practicing Catholic who actively participates in the sacramental life of the Church
Someone who qualifies as an assistant teacher under DHS licensing rules (https://www.revisor.mn.gov/rules/9503.0033/)
Experience in early childhood or preschool settings (preferred)
Kindness, patience, and a willingness to partner with the lead teacher
Ability to pass background checks and complete safe environment training
Salary: Commensurate with experience
