Job Title: Long Term Substitute Early Childhood Paraprofessional
Job Description: The preferred candidate will assist the early childhood teacher in supporting the students in the classroom at Roosevelt Early Learning Center. A paraprofessional will help prepare and set up materials for the day (art, sensory table, dramatic play, etc), facilitate small group lessons as directed by the teacher, and support preschoolers through transitions and play. We are a Pyramid Model site and will support training in positive behavior management to help guide and teach social and emotional development in young children. The position is Monday through Friday, 8:30 am-3:30 pm. The position begins August 26th, 2025, until approximately November 21st, 2025.
Qualifications: AA degree preferred. Experience working with children ages 3-5 and knowledge of child development preferred.
Licensure necessary for position: AA degree preferred
