Our faith based school system provides opportunities for 2 year old through Pre-Kindergarten in our Nest Preschool, located across three of our five campuses. This is a unique opportunity to work with a team of educators, shape early childhood education, and foster a Catholic learning environment for children. We partner with parents to provide a first school experience of discovery and adventure. This person will research, plan, organize, and implement preschool programs within our Rochester Catholic Schools preschool programs. This includes, but is not limited to, directing activities, budgets, programming options and other details of The Nest programs. Essential responsibilities are listed below: * Ensure compliance with all local and federal laws governing child care, both in regard to the physical environment and the staff. * Support and maintain accreditation of preschool programs. * Work with qualified staff to oversee and develop an appropriate curriculum and assessment to ensure programs comply with state and federal requirements. * Oversee and support implementation of curriculum in all preschool programs. * Coordinate standards for family communication. * Train and coach principals and preschool staff on age-apprpriate standards of practice. * Facilitate professional development for staff that enhances program excellence and fulfills the state and federsl requirements.
