Maple Lake High School is seeking a qualified, dynamic, and relationship-focused Head Boys Basketball Coach to lead and develop its student-athletes in grades 7–12. Position: Head Boys Basketball Coach Start Date: November 17, with summer sessions if possible Application Deadline: Open until filled Key Responsibilities: * Plan and lead organized, effective practices * Prepare student-athletes for competition throughout the season * Oversee the Basketball program for grades 7–12 * Involvement within the youth programs * Coordinate or provide opportunities for summer training and development * Foster a supportive, inclusive, and high-expectation team culture * Communicate effectively with athletes, families, and school staff * Collaborate with the Activities Office to ensure program excellence * Promote academic success, leadership, and good citizenship among athletes Qualifications: * Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and organizational skills * Ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and the community * Experience in coaching and/or competitive basketball preferred * Must hold or be able to obtain a Minnesota Head Coaching License per state statute Application Process: Interested candidates should submit a letter of interest to: Dan Krause Activities Director Maple Lake High School Email: kraused@maplelake.k12.mn.us
