Major Areas of Accountability: Accounting and Finance Functions (55% of role): * Develop and maintain the District budget of revenues and expenditures. * Direct and supervise all financial accounting, payment for materials and services along with monitoring the processing of payroll. * Develop procedures and processes to meet the requirements of the State purchasing laws for equipment and services * Provide financial data analysis for buildings, programs and negotiations Monitor the Building and Grounds of the district (15% of role): * Develop and maintain the District budget of revenues and expenditures. * Plan and coordinate capital purchases for the District. * Direct and oversee the administration of systems and services of the department. Monitor the Food Service Function of the district (10% of role): * Develop and maintain the District budget of revenues and expenditures. * Plan and coordinate capital purchases for the department. * Direct and oversee the administration of systems and services of the department Supports the district&#8217;s contracted transportation service provider (10% of role): * Develop and maintain the District budget of revenues and expenditures. * District contact for implementation of the transportation contract and policies of the District. Supports negotiations of employee contracts (10% of role): * Provide financial data analysis for negotiations. Qualifications: * Degree in Education, Accounting, Business Administration, or related area. * Three years of previous accounting experience desired. * Previous experience in school finance recommended.
