Description: Modern Montessori Charter School is seeking an Elementary One Teacher for the 2025-26 school year. The ideal candidate will enjoy team teaching daily while working in an innovative, supportive, dynamic educational setting and working collaboratively to develop Montessori STEM integrated curriculum in a multiage classroom. Candidates will provide a nurturing and stimulating environment to facilitate children’s growth, exploration and participation, observe the child and interpret the child’s needs and coordinate regular communication with parents regarding their children’s progress. Candidates will effectively use observations and data regularly to assess student achievement and plan instruction accordingly. Ideal candidates will be highly motivated, organized, optimistic, problem solvers, adaptable, and communicate positively and effectively.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in related field
Valid Minnesota Teaching license in Elementary Education
Montessori teacher certified preferred, or willingness to pursue
Knowledge of STEM best practices preferred
