Primary Responsibilities
Duties of this job include, but are not limited to: all assigned music educational teacher duties and responsibilities, which will include: the implementation of music curriculum, communicating with parents, facilitating a love for music, and working collaboratively with colleagues.
Preferences
We strongly prefer candidates who have exhibited excellence in collaboration with colleagues and an enthusiasm to work with students. Preferred candidates will also have a demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning as evidenced by graduate-level work or an earned degree, as well as participation in professional organization conferences or seminars related to the content area.
Qualifications
Current Minnesota State Licensure in Elementary Music Education required. Position requires someone who is enthusiastic, self-motivated about teaching students and working with staff, and has the ability to be a flexible team member. Candidate must have strong communication skills, and value working in partnership with parents and other staff members to provide a professional learning community focused on improving student learning.
Licensing Requirements
Valid Minnesota Teaching License in K-12 Vocal and Classroom Music, or eligibility, required.
