Position Summary: Owatonna High School is seeking a Health and Physical Education long-term substitute. The role consists of implementing existing lesson plans, overseeing classroom activities, assigning homework, following the full-time teacher's instructions, and grading tests. Qualifications: - Hold an existing MN Teaching License (preferably in Physical Education) - Student-Centered - Commitment and belief around ensuring all students learn at high levels. - Demonstrated use of research-based instructional and engagement strategies to meet the continuum of individual learning needs while using data and assessments to guide instructional decisions. - Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and students to achieve student learning results. Schedule: 1.0FTE This position is from August 25, 2025, to October 15, 2025. Rate of Pay: Based on candidate's experience and education per the OEA Master Agreement *pending contract negotiations.
