Rockford Elementary Arts Magnet School is a Kindness Certified School and kindness activities are facilitated and led by the School Counselor. The Elementary School Counselor supports the academic, emotional, and social development of students in grades K&#8211;4. This role includes running individual and group interventions, collaborating with teachers and families, and promoting a safe and inclusive school environment. The Elementary School Counselor will communicate with school staff and parents/guardians. This position also serves as liaison between students and federal, state, and local social and community support programs.
