We are looking for an Interim Superintendent who is dedicated to ensuring student success and supporting our educational goals.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic educational leader to serve as the Interim School Superintendent for Crookston Public Schools. The successful candidate will lead the district during the 2025-2026 school year with the potential for a long-term appointment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide leadership and management of all district operations and staff
* Ensure a focus on student achievement, well-being, and the overall educational mission
* Collaborate with school board members, staff, and the community to build positive relationships and support district goals
* Manage budget and resources effectively
* Uphold district policies and work toward continuous improvement in educational programs
Qualifications:
* Valid Minnesota Superintendent License through PELSB or be in the process of obtaining one
* Prior experience in an educational administrative role is preferred
* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
* A commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive school culture
* Ability to engage with all stakeholders, including students, staff, and community members
