Job Requirements: * High School diploma or equivalent * Valid Drivers License * Ability to pass a background study * Knowledgeable in the area of activities and athletics * Minnesota State High School League requirements for Activities Director certification Experience: * Previous experience in working with children, specifically athletics, preferred. * CPR and first aid training desired * Working knowledge of district discipline policies and MSHSL rules and regulations Job Qualifications: * Ability to work in a diverse environment * Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, teachers, administrators, community, and staff * Working knowledge of district discipline policies * Knowledge of MSHSL/Conference/Section rules and regulations * Ability to instruct, lead and supervise student athletes * Ability to work with individuals of various ability levels * Ability to work independently within a larger context of team cooperation * Operate computer, printer, copy machine, fax machine, phone system, walkie-talkie, and other electronic or technological equipment specific to the position * Uses basic office software * Uses Gmail to send and receive district communication Salary: $12,000 per year Benefits: None Northland Community Schools is an Equal Opportunity Employer ISD #118 does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, disability, age, sexual orientation, familial status, religion, creed, gender, marital status, genetic information, or receipt of public assistance in admission, access to, or treatment or employment in its programs and activities.
