Creating a safe Social-Emotional Learning Environment Job Summary The Math Interventionist will provide coordination, collaboration, strategies, and instruction, to ensure each student receives the maximum benefit from the math programs at Community School of Excellence. Additionally, the Math Interventionist will push-in to classrooms and assist with both small group and large group instruction. The Math Interventionist may, at times, have small group pull-out instruction and could work with students one-on-one. Responsibilities * Provide direct instruction in math for identified groups and individual students. * Develop criteria for identification of students in need of math support and the levels of support. * Provide training and on-going support to classroom teachers and paraprofessionals for math instruction. * Coordinate and supervise math assessments. * Maintain a comprehensive inventory of math instructional materials and resources * Maintain records and track math student assessment data * Participate in collaborative math instructional planning and teaching * Actively participate in team meetings and Professional Learning Communities * Value teaching in diverse cultural settings * Is a forward, solutions-based thinker * Participate in parent conferences and provide instructional suggestions, as needed. * Provide feedback to teachers and administrators on the school&#8217;s math program. * Perform other duties, as assigned. Qualifications * A valid Minnesota teaching license * At least 3 years experience teaching mathematics (preferred) * Master&#8217;s degree in Math Education (preferred) * 2+ years experience with math interventions preferred * Experience working with a diverse school population, specifically Hmong, preferred -- Community School of Excellence School District #4181, 270 Larpenteur Ave West, St. Paul, MN 55113 Please submit the following: 1.
