The Kids World Program Manager will represent Faribault Public Schools in a positive manner. Work is performed under the supervision of the Kids World Coordinator. Essential Functions * Interacts directly with students and families to enhance and support the students&#8217; enrichment experience and ensure success * Responsible for planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities for youth * Ensures use of best practices in a child care setting for children, youth, and adults * Regular attendance is a must for this position * Provides overall site management before and/or after school at Roosevelt, Jefferson, and Lincoln * Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Flexibility, strong interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to provide consistency * Demonstrates excellent written and verbal skills * Innovative problem-solver, self starter, and the ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment * Excellent organizational and time-management skills * Understanding of Faribault Public Schools policies and structure * Knowledge of Child Care Certifications and Accreditation requirements * Proven customer service skills * Proven resourcefulness * Excellent attendance record * Team player who possesses group-thinking skills * Experience with Eleyo and Google * Bilingual preferred (English & Spanish or Somali) Education and Experience * One of the following must be completed to be considered for a position * A.A. Degree in Child Development or related education field * At least two years of postsecondary education or on track for a degree in education or a related field * Minimum of two years working with Kids World or another child care organization or educational setting * Must be at least 18 years of age * Experience working in Special Education * First Aid and CPR Certified Pay rate: $21.16 per hour. Additional bonus stipend for hours directly working with children may be issued quarterly as long as funding is available through MN DHS Great Start Compensation Support Program. Position details: Position is Monday through Friday. Applicants must be available to work during program hours before school from 6:15am - 8:00 or 9:00am and/or after school from 2:45pm - 5:30pm. Shifts will be a set schedule and may range from 2 hours up to 3.75 hours per day. The location of this position will vary between Roosevelt, Jefferson and Lincoln Schools, working directly with children and serving as a support for all three schools. This position requires working on non-school days. This position will begin approximately August 27, 2025, and commence on June 4, 2026.
