Summary of Duties: Under general supervision, coordinate social-emotional learning (SEL) support for students, as well as SEL professional development for staff working directly with students on your caseload. * Establish data collection methods to track the effectiveness of the interventions either directly or through collaboration with other staff. * Provide individual and/or group skill development in the areas of SEL. * Communicate effectively with students, parents, school staff. * Assist site staff with the identification of students who need tier ll and/or Tier IIl SEL supports. * Ability to provide Tier II SEL/Behavior interventions directly or through consultation to other educators and support staff. Consultation and collaboration with others is important in the development or generalization of SEL skills. * Establish attendance plans for students that are not meeting consistent attendance requirements. * Collaborate as appropriate with school based teams such as MTSS, PBIS, and Student Support Team. * Assist in identifying and providing staff education on SEL Requirements: A valid Minnesota Elementary Teaching License is required. Salary Range: $49,591 - $88,577 (based on the MTA salary schedule).
