Student Support Specialist For specific information please contact: Nicolette Abel at AbelN@district112.org<mailto:AbelN@district112.org> Start Date: To Be Determined mid August Days/Hours: Monday - Friday; 8:00 am - 4:30 pm; Year-Round 260 days Salary: $74,469 per year July- June, salary will be prorated based on start date- possible longivity pay based on district years of service starts in year 5 (range $2,496 - $4,906) Responsible To: Manager of Extended Time Learning Position Purpose: To develop, implement and maintain processes that allow for the successful integration of all students into Community Education care programs and extended time learning opportunities see attachment Major Job Function, Specific Tasks, Required Knowledge/Abilities/Skills: See attachment. Education/Certification/Experience Requirements: * Bachelor&#8217;s degree in child development, program management, elementary education or related field * CPI Certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire * 5+ years experience supporting youth with diverse needs * 5+ years experience in a supervisory role in related program setting See attachment for additional information Benefits of Employment: Eligible for benefits as negotiated between the Professional and Technical Personnel group and District 112.
