K-8 Art Teacher

Position: 1.0 FTE with Benefits
Location: Art & Science Academy, Isanti, MN

Art & Science Academy (ASA), a public charter school district with two campuses (grades K–4 and 5–8), is seeking a creative, collaborative, and passionate K-8 Art Teacher to join our K–8 campus August 2025 for the 2025-26 school year.

Job Summary:
The K-8 Art Specialist/Teacher will:
Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with Minnesota Art Standards
Deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction to K–8 students
Evaluate and assess student progress against instructional objectives
Collaborate with general education teachers to integrate art into core content areas
Participate in team planning, school events, and staff development
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Engage with families and colleagues to support student learning and creativity
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field
Valid Minnesota teaching license in Visual Arts (K–6 or K–12)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience teaching elementary grades and middle school grades
Passion for art integration and interdisciplinary learning
Strong classroom management and organizational skills
