The Zumbrota-Mazeppa School District is seeking a dynamic, compassionate, and dedicated Primary/Elementary Teacher to join our ZM Team.

Responsibilities
* Design and implement engaging, inclusive lessons aligned with district and state standards.
* Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, such as differentiated instruction, hands-on learning, and technology to meet diverse student needs.
* Create a positive and nurturing classroom environment that promotes respect, curiosity, and responsibility.
* Monitor student progress through assessments, observations, and data analysis; provide targeted support and timely feedback.
* Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and families to support each child’s development and well-being.
* Maintain clear and regular communication with parents/guardians about student progress, concerns, and successes.
* Participate in school and district-wide initiatives, professional development, and team meetings.
* Uphold school and district policies, including those related to student behavior, safety, and equity.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education / Teaching license/certification valid in Minnesota (K–6).
* Experience teaching in a primary/elementary setting is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of primary/elementary curriculum frameworks, and best instructional practices.
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* Ability to create inclusive environments accommodating diverse learners, including ELL students and those with IEPs.
* Commitment to continuous improvement and collaboration with peers and families.
SUPERVISION:
Teachers report to the building principal.
COMPENSATION:
Teachers are compensated according to the current master agreement.
