The purpose of this position is to lead the effective use of district data in instructional and operational decision-making by collecting, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating detailed and accurate information. Position Qualifications Education/Certification: * Bachelor's degree * Advanced degree in education and/or analytics-related field with research experience Experience: * 2 or more years of experience in a leadership position (school district experience not required) * 3 or more years of experience in data systems or equivalent computer science related field * Strong background using various tools and methods to extract and manipulate data. Strong Excel and SQL query experience is a must. * Experience presenting and explaining results to various levels of stakeholders, including executive and board levels. * Experience with visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI. * Project management experience: coordinating, leading, and driving data projects to completion. * Experience working in a cross-functional team to achieve a common outcome. * Experience in producing documentation, reports and analysis that can be formalized, evaluated, and consumed by multiple audiences. Qualifications: * Excellent research-based analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. * Adept at querying data, creating visual reports, and communicating findings. * Culturally proficient leadership disposition. * Ability to think at a systems level. * Ability to conduct professional development using principles of adult learning. * Self-motivated. * Ability to collaborate. * Ability to learn new technologies. * Strong problem-solving skills. * Strong communication skills including writing, speaking, and listening. * Ability to think broadly, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to change. * Ability to work with diverse groups and/or individuals. *Please review the attached job description for additional details about the position. Director of Learning Analytics, Data, and Reporting Salary and Benefit Package* Salary/year $120,826 - $133,026 based on experience and qualifications Vacation 25 days a year Holidays 12 paid holidays each year Life Insurance Life insurance fully paid by the employer for an amount equal to twice the employee's annual salary Long Term Disability Insurance Long term disability fully paid by the employer.
