Position Available:
EL Teacher (0.20 FTE)
Location:
Foley Public Schools, 840 Norman Avenue N, Foley, MN
Days/Time:
Start date: As soon as possible. Position is .20FTE or 8 hours per week, with the possibility of additional time. Work days & times to be determined by the EL teacher and building administrators, based on student needs and classroom schedules.
Position Summary:
Foley Public Schools is looking for a licensed EL teacher to provide service for elementary, intermediate, and high school students for the 2025-26 school year. The need for this position is reviewed annually based on student need. The EL teacher will work closely with faculty to build teachers’ expertise in instructing students who are English Language learners; work directly with students to support their learning needs; communicate frequently with families, providing them with information about language and literacy development and their students’ progress, and administer required EL student assessments and screeners.
Licensure:
Current English as a Second Language teaching license for the State of Minnesota
