Position: Speech-Language Pathologist Annual Salary: $58-71k Duration of the Position: Year-round, Full-Time or Part-Time Benefits: 403b, Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST), Personal Days, Medical, Dental, Health Savings Account (HSA), Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Long Term Disability, Voluntary Short Term Disability, Voluntary Life and AD&D, Basic Life Insurance SUMMARY Responsible for the evaluation and treatment of students with language-based learning disabilities. Develop and implement appropriate speech-language treatment plans, including goals and objectives that meet the needs of each individual. Job requirements include consistently acting in a kind and respectful manner that positively impacts the communicative, academic, social and emotional success of every person that you are working with. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES ● Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and meet with families to review results and recommendations ● Develop and implement speech-language pathology treatment plans that meet the specific needs of each individual ● Provide multi-modal instruction whenever possible taking into consideration individual strengths and weaknesses to allow every person the opportunity to reach their full potential ● Evaluate progress of students under your care and communicate this to parents and caregivers through phone calls, notes, parent-teacher conferences, and progress reports on a timely basis ● Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team including teachers, counselors, school administrators, medical providers, etc. ● Collaborate with Groves Diagnostics Team by reviewing and interpreting psychoeducational and speech-language assessment results to inform plans of care ● Continue to develop professional knowledge of speech-language pathology, learning disabilities, ADHD and other areas of diagnoses relative to clients who exhibit communication disorders through attendance at conferences, workshops, in-service meetings, and reading professional journals SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Communicate with faculty, staff, leadership, administration, community members, and students in person, by phone, e-mail and in writing. Respond to all inquiries within one to two business days. 2.
