ISM seeks a Pre-Kindergarten Teacher interested in working with ISM for Academic Year 2025-2026 and beyond. Dates would be current through the last day of teacher wrap-up on June 9th. The last day for school for
students is currently June 5th.
The Teacher is responsible and accountable for providing students with a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment. The Pre-K Teacher works closely with the school administration team. Teachers ensures the school's selected curriculum and SABIS® image, brand, philosophy, systems, policies, and procedures are properly implemented and observed.
Student Academic Achievement: Implements the goals and objectives of the SABIS® curriculum and philosophy, or the selected curriculum;
Qualifications/Must Have Skills
- Classroom management skills
- Experience teaching Kindergarten, required
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students and colleagues
- Knowledge of primary education principles and best practices
- Ability to lesson plan and implementation
- Understanding of childhood development and behavior management techniques
Classroom Management: Executes appropriate and positive discipline strategies in the classroom;
- Supervises students during classroom time, lunch, recess, and when students are entering or leaving buses, or while otherwise on school premises, including duty with extended day before and/or after regular school hours within the duty day as directed by the classroom teacher or school administration;
- Applies school and classroom rules consistently and effectively;
- Utilizes preventative discipline and other classroom management options;
- Motivates and engages students;
- Communicates expectations to students early;
- Establishes and maintains a positive classroom environment conducive to learning;
- Manages emergency situations confidently and calmly;
- Supervises students within the school setting and on school grounds.

Pay: $42,000.00 - $44,000.00 per year
