Nativity of Mary School is seeking a PreK-8 Music teacher to begin immediately for the 2025-2026 school year. Candidates must be student-centered, have high expectations, and an enthusiastic approach to working with students and their families.

Our new Music Teacher will prepare each day''s lesson plans for students in PreK-8 Grade, communicate regularly with school families, attend teacher meetings, and perform other duties as assigned. In addition to classroom duties, the music teacher will plan liturgical music for weekly school Mass. 

Willing to discuss options with candidates looking for part-time/temporary. There is flexibility in this role regarding playing for school mass, and working with PreK students. 

The ideal candidate: 

• BA/BS Degree and MN Teaching License (aligned with subjects taught)
• Practicing Catholic with a desire to share the faith
• Strong dedication to Catholic education and mission
• Engaging teaching style that supports academic excellence and individual student needs
• Strong classroom management and ability to create a welcoming learning environment
• Effective communicator and collaborator with students, families, and staff
• Commitment to professional growth
• Experience preferred
• Completed background check, code of conduct, and VIRTUS training
