Educational Assistant – Level 3
We are seeking an Educational Assistant (Level 3) to join our team at Gideon Pond Elementary. This position will support students by working with academic small groups and assisting with lunchroom supervision to ensure a safe, positive environment.
Educational Assistant Level III
Days: 5 Days a week
Hours: 6.5
Compensation/benefits: Per Unit Agreement
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting students in small academic groups under the direction of licensed staff
- ?Providing guidance, encouragement, and positive reinforcement to help students stay engaged in learning
- Assisting with cafeteria/lunchroom supervision to promote a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment
- Collaborating with staff to support the overall well-being and success of students
- Must meet highly qualified standards as defined by the state
- Completion of AA degree, 60 college level credits or completion of para-pro exam
- Experience working with children in an educational or youth setting preferred
- Ability to build positive, supportive relationships with students and staff
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and respectful school environment
