Hastings High School is seeking a highly qualified candidate to serve as B-Squad Grade Baseball Coach.

Compensation/Benefit Information:

• Compensation for this position for 24-25 Baseball season is $4065
• This position is not contract eligible, so it does not qualify for benefits.  Please see Teachers Master Agreement

Candidates are desired to have successful high school and/or collegiate level coaching experience, and/or related successful experiences in educational leadership.  Candidates should have strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and the commitment to develop and maintain positive relationships between the program and the local community.  

This position reports to the Head Coach, Athletic Director and Principal, who provide overall job objectives and observe performance.

This coach will advise, coordinate, and support the athletic personnel for the B-Squad team and may provide guidance and support to the Varsity team, according to expectations of the Head Coach and Athletic Director.

This coach is expected to coordinate the instruction, training, and development of all athletes and coaches at this level in this sport; model a transformational, purpose-driven philosophy; represent a holistic definition of success; commit to personal development and collaboration; display a values-based approach as a coach who develops people first, and then the athlete; coaches the athlete first, and then the skill; coaches for the student-athletes before themselves; makes a lasting, positive impact on the school community; has meaningful, rewarding personal coaching experiences.
