Pupil Support Assistant (PSA): Outdoor Club 

Position Purpose
PSA will assist in maximizing the learning experience of children with special needs during their participation in Outdoor Club activities
Hours:
  • Up to six hours monthly (2-3 activities per month)
  • Position begins 9/24/2025 (date of first activity)
Responsibilities & Duties
  • Assist Lead Staff in providing behavrior reinforcement and managing student''s needs while at Outdoor Club activities.
  • Assist and support interpersonal skills and activities, daily living needs and social/emotional needs for student
  • Ability to be flexible with schedules.
  • Supervising and assisting student during arrival/departure from activities (including bus supervision)
  • Must meet one of the following requirements:
    • at least two years of qualifying college credits (usually 60 credits in Minnesota) through an accredited institution of higher education, or;
    • an associates or higher degree, with qualifying course work, or;
    • a passing score on a valid and reliable formal assessment. 
  • Ability to follow program direction as provided by program coordinador. 
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds in weight and support students with activities of daily living
  • Ability to demonstrate prompt, regular and reliable attendance
