Twin Cities International Schools (TCIS) is now hiring for a 2025-26 Long-Call 2nd Grade Substitute Teacher with an orientation/shadow start date of December 15th through December 19th, 2025 and in-classroom beginning January 2nd through approximately April 2nd, 2026. Applicants must hold a valid MN Teaching License or have a valid Short/Long-call Substitute license by date of hire, both of which are acceptable. Daily rate of $300.00 (minus withholding) for each full day worked. 

Responsibilities would include (but not limited to): Providing direct instruction and to facilitate learning for all students, teaching assigned grade classes/subjects using the plans set forth by the absent teacher, meeting the needs of each student through individual and group instruction, following all policies and procedures to which regular teachers are subject and which good teaching practice dictates, clear communication with both staff and students and contributing positively to the learning and development of students. If not in classroom, additional administrative, supervision or miscellaneous tasks and duties would be assigned. Experience with standards-based instruction, English Language Learners and common assessments a plus.
