A position as a Contract Substitute Elementary Teacher is available at Monroe Elementary School beginning January 2, ending May 19, 2026.
Summary of Duties:
The Contract Substitute Teacher will provide high-quality instruction to second-grade students in alignment with district curriculum and grade-level standards. This position is part of a Professional Learning Community (PLC) and involves collaborating with grade-level colleagues to plan, deliver, and assess effective instruction. Responsibilities include maintaining a positive and structured classroom environment, differentiating instruction to meet diverse student needs, monitoring and reporting student progress, and communicating regularly with families and staff. The teacher will actively participate in PLC meetings, implement established classroom routines and behavior expectations, and ensure continuity of learning for the remainder of the school year.
Requirements:
A valid Minnesota Elementary Teaching License is required.
Salary Range:
$259.64 - $463.75 per day (based on the MTA salary schedule).
