Description:
Shakopee Public Schools is searching for a Long Term Substitute to teach English at West Middle School from approximately January 21, 2026 to June 5, 2026.
Job Summary:
- Provides instruction in content area in accordance with each student''s ability
- Creates a classroom environment that fosters student learning and personal growth
- Establishes effective working relationships with students and parents
- Works collaboratively with other staff members
Qualifications:
- Valid MN teaching license in English / Language Arts or Communication Arts / Literature
- Experience with multiple instructional designs and differentiated instruction
- Strong classroom management skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to build successful relationships with students, parents and staff

Salary ranges from $51,000 to $120,813 depending upon education level and experience.
