Assistant FFA Advisor

Job Summary:       
The Assistant FFA adviser will assist the FFA Advisor for the Belle Plaine FFA Chapter. Chapters are student-led under the watchful eye of their adviser(s). Duties include preparing students for region and state contests, helping members organize activities on local through national levels and promoting the chapter in the community. FFA advisers supervise chapter entries for the organization''s contests and offer suggestions for completing award applications. They also work with the chapter''s alumni group and advisory group. The assistant advisor will work closely with the head advisor for planning and supporting students. They may be expected to take students to events without the head advisor or to prepare teams/contests/fundraisers/events as well. 

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required. FFA experence helpful. 
• A copy of a background check processed in the last 12 months. If one hasn''t been done, a background check can be completed through the district. For more information on background checks, please refer to Minnesota Statute 123B.03.

Salary:              
Pay range is $3,146.36 - $3,820.58/year, based on years of experience per Schedule C of the BPEA contract.
