POSITION:  MUSIC TEACHER, 1.0FTE
 
JOB DESCRIPTION:  Onamia Public Schools is seeking a dynamic and highly energetic K-5 Elementary General Music Specialist, with additional opportunities to teach one or two sections of music electives at the secondary level for the 2025-2026 school year. Qualified candidates should have a strong background in implementing researched-based instructional strategies, equity/diversity, and meeting the needs of unique learners. Successful candidates should also be creative and have both good communication and problem solving skills. The Onamia Public School District takes pride in its music department and we look forward to adding another strong passionate music teacher to our team!
 
The Onamia School District is located along the south shore of beautiful Lake Mille Lacs and is just one and a half hours north of Minneapolis on highway 169. 

Onamia School District qualifies for student loan reduction programs.

REQUIREMENTS: Valid Minnesota license. May hold either a MN K-12 Vocal/General Music or Instrumental/General Music Teaching License.  
 
SALARY: Per Master Agreement
