Breckenridge Public School District is currently seeking dynamic and personable individuals to fill the following position for the 2026-2027 school year:
Elementary Classroom Teacher - 1.0 FTE position (2026-2027 School Year)
Qualifications:
Valid Minnesota Elementary (K–6) Teaching License or the ability to obtain one
Demonstrated ability to build strong, positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
Skills in differentiated instruction, classroom management, and creating inclusive learning environments
Preferred experience with:
Science of Reading and Structured Literacy practices
Standards-based instruction and reporting
Project-Based Learning
Active Classroom strategies that increase student engagement
Use of formative and summative assessments to guide instruction
Commitment to data-driven decision making within an MTSS/RtI framework
Strong technology skills, organizational skills, and a willingness to integrate digital tools to support learning
Ability to collaborate and contribute as a member of a professional learning community (PLC)
Belief that all students can achieve at high levels and meet rigorous expectations
Excellent communication skills with students, parents, and team members
Passionate, flexible, dependable, and enthusiastic about teaching and learning
SUPERVISION: This position reports directly to the Elementary School Principal
COMPENSATION: Salary and benefits are in accordance with the current Master Agreement, available on the district website under Employment Opportunities → Master Agreements.
