Job Summary:  Under the direction of district administrators, the Lead Special Education Teacher will be provided time each day to provide leadership and support to the special education team.  Resposibilities include being the IEP district rep for IEP meetings, creating and maintaining paraeducator schedules, including making adjustments for absences, and problem solving and providing support to the special education team.

Qualifications:  Certified teaching certificate from the State of MN in the required subject area.  Multiple SPED licensure areas preferred.    

Working Conditions:  Duty day as per teacher contract
