Special Education Paraprofessional

Work Hours: 6.5 hours per day, Monday – Friday Student Session Days

Application Deadline: January 5, 2026 or until filled

Starting pay is $16.51/hr plus benefits.


Holdingford Public School is seeking individuals to assist special education teachers with meeting the educational, emotional, and physical needs of students. Assists in guiding the student through various daily activities by utilizing a balanced approach to learning that supports age and grade appropriate behavior and thinking. Assists in implementing the Individual Education Plan(IEP).

Qualifications: 

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent(GED). 

And meet one of the following: 

  • Two years of college credits through an accredited institution, or

  • An associate degree or higher, or

  • Passing score on an approved formal academic assessment
