EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANT
FOLEY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Applications are being taken for full-time educational assistants at Foley Elementary School.  Educational Assistants work directly under the supervision of a special education teacher and/or the school principal. Successful applicants will supervise and work with students with physical, intellectual, and/or behavioral disabilities.  

An A.A. degree, at least two years of study at an institution of higher education (a minimum of 60 semester credits), or a passing score on the ParaPro or ParaEducator assessment. Information on the ParaPro Assessment can be found at https://www.ets.org/parapro. Experience working with children in a classroom or educational setting, and experience working with children with disabilities, is preferred.

Schedule: 6.5 hours per day / Monday - Friday, 32.5 hours per week following the school district calendar, Daily Start/End Time - 8am to 3pm
