Becker School District is conveniently located off of US Hwy 10, just 20 minutes SE from St. Cloud and 45 minutes NW from the Twin Cities. The District consists of five buildings, all situated on a single, cohesive campus and serves approximately 2,800 students - Early Education Building, Primary School (K-2), Intermediate School (3-5), Middle School (6-8), and High School (9-12). Becker’s mission is to develop self-directed learners to thrive in a changing global community.

Position Summary: Speech coaching experience at the high school level is preferred. Reporting to the Head Speech Coach and Activities Director, the Assistant Speech Coach will support our high school speech program by working directly with students on performance events, interpretation, and public speaking skills. This role involves helping guide students through event preparation, rehearsals, and competitive performances while fostering a supportive, fun, and educational team environment. Competitions are on Saturday mornings. The Assistant Speech Coach will collaborate closely with the Head Coach to plan practices, provide individualized feedback, and assist with tournament preparation and supervision, ensuring a positive and successful experience for all participants.

Schedule (hours or FTE): Daily practices would take place from 3:00-5:00pm daily.
Salary: $2399.90
