Secondary School Principal – Benson Public Schools ISD 0777

Benson Public Schools is currently accepting applications for a full time grades 6-12 Principal starting the 2026-2027 school year. The Secondary School Principal serves as the instructional and administrative leader of the school, responsible for student achievement, staff supervision, school operations, and fostering a safe, positive learning environment. Candidates must be positive, energetic, and possess strong educational leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Provide instructional leadership and support continuous improvement in teaching and learning

·         Supervise, evaluate, and support faculty and staff

·         Establish and maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful school culture

·         Oversee student behavior, discipline, and support services

·         Manage daily school operations, safety procedures, and building supervision

·         Develop and implement the school improvement plan using student data

·         Manage school budget and resources responsibly

·         Communicate effectively with families, staff, and community partners

·         Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal requirements

Qualifications

·  Valid MN principal/administrator licensure

·  Demonstrated leadership experience at the secondary level

·  Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Salary Range:  $100,410 - $114,662
