This position is a 1.0 FTE 260 day position and is a key member of the District Office team and will play a critical role in supporting the superintendent, staff, students, and the school board. Salary range: $60,000 to $70,000; dependent upon related experience and qualifications. This position is benefit eligible including health, life, dental, and long term disability insurance along with PTO and 403b. This position is open until filled. EOE Essential Functions Process monthly payroll for approximately 150 employees (including regular and extracurricular staff) Primary Payroll Responsibilities: Administer benefits, insurance, and leave tracking Frontline Absence Management RegionV Timetracker Input payroll data Manage tax reporting and payroll compliance Administer Wage Statements, W-2 Forms, and 1095-C Forms Maintain employee status changes and payroll records Primary Human Resource Responsibilities: Job postings and onboarding of new employees Worker''s compensation administration Unemployment insurance administration Minnesota Paid Leave compliance Annual Notices of Assignment for all employees Maintain personnel evaluations and seniority lists Coordinates mandatory employee orientation trainings: Blood Borne Pathogens, Employee Right to Know, Bullying Prevention, etc. Responsible for providing SmarteR and Timetracker password and Sign on Assistance Prepares employee service and retirement awards Coordinates volunteers and visitors for the district School Board Responsibilities: District Election and Notary Official Prepares meeting agendas and supporting documents for School Board and Policy Review Meetings Attends School Board and Policy Review Committee meetings and takes minutes Other Responsibilities: Prepares deposits for accounts receivable Attends workshops, education seminars, and conferences as needed Maintains District Business Office Website Policy revisions after approval by Policy Review Committee School Board agendas and minutes Provides support for home school families, corresponds, maintains accurate records Prepares date for the annual Compulsory Instruction Report to MDE MDE STAR annual report Pay Equity Report (every three years) District Postage - Stamps.com Additional Duties The above tasks are listed for the purpose of identifying the appropriate State Job Match for this job class and are not intended to be a comprehensive list of all responsibilities and tasks which may be assigned to this position.
