Special Education Teacher Gentry Academy, a 5-12 charter school in Vadnais Heights, Minnesota, is seeking a teacher whose primary responsibility will be teaching Special Education for the 2026-2027 school year. and beyond The position is full-time. The position requires an experienced teacher who can independently manage a classroom. A Minnesota teaching license is required, specifically Academic Behavior Strategist (ABS) and/or SLD. Gentry Academy is located on the Vadnais Sports Center campus in a state-of-the-art building that was newly opened in the spring of 2017. Gentry Academy is designed for students who seek to be high-achieving leaders in life. Students are presented with a powerful opportunity to learn in a traditional classroom setting that integrates the core curriculum with a flexible W.I.N. (What I Need) schedule that allows students to focus on their desired disciplines and passions through our four schools focused on academics, arts, athletics, and corporate integration. Position Description: The candidate selected to fill the role of a Special Education teacher will be given the great responsibility of continuing our commitment to leadership and academic excellence.
