Caledonia Area Elementary School is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Special Education Teacher to join our team for the 2026?2027 school year. This position supports students with a range of special needs through direct instruction, collaboration, and individualized programming. Responsibilities: ? Provide specially designed instruction as outlined in student IEPs ? Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, and families ? Develop and maintain compliant and effective IEPs ? Collect data and monitor student progress toward goals ? Implement behavior support strategies as needed Qualifications: ? Valid Minnesota teaching license in Special Education (ABS, LD, EBD, or similar area) ? Strong communication and organizational skills ? Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families ? Experience with due process systems preferred (SpEd Forms) ?
