New Heights School of Stillwater, MN is seeking a full-time, long-term substitute for a secondary Language Arts teacher. Classes/grades span 8th-12th grades. The expected term for this position is April 27th through May 21st; 19 school days. Classes include Intro to Lit, British Lit, American Lit, Film and 8 th grade language arts. The current instructor will provide solid and authentic standards-based lesson plans to meet the needs of the students. The substitute teacher should not have to do lesson planning other than mildly modifying lessons to suit his or her teaching style. New Heights is one of the nation''s original charter schools, having served students for more than 33 years in the scenic St. Croix River Valley. New Heights is a small, relationship-based program featuring small class sizes and a back-to-basics approach to education.
