Dates: June 15 - July 2, M - TH, 8:00a - 12:00p Job Summary : Educate, plan, teach, facilitate and evaluate the students of Independent School District #578 in the educational process as defined by local and state department regulations and guidelines. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Provide instruction and monitor student progress of students in assigned classes and report student progress to parents; work with support staff and administration in dealing with student concerns in and outside of the teacher classroom Select and prepare educational activities for the course and also in a weekly lesson plan format; the activities are aligned with district and state outcomes Participate in meetings such as: building staff meetings, department meetings, grade level meetings, K-12 curriculum meetings, staff development meetings, parent-teacher conferences, open houses Supervise students during the school day according to the established building supervision schedule as well as indirect supervision at all times during school activities Maintain current licensure for the areas assigned to teach. Supervisory Responsibilities : Supervises students. Education and Experience Requirements : Degree : Bachelor''s Degree from an accredited university in Education or relevant instructional subject area. License : Licensed teachers in the State of MN with appropriate licensure for assigned ares of responsibility or proof of pending approved licensure. Experience: Prior successful experience student teaching.
