This unique role blends early childhood classroom teaching with targeted student support, ideal for an educator passionate about both foundational learning and individualized intervention. Key Responsibilities: Preschool Teacher (0.5 FTE ? 3-Year-Old Classroom): Plan and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with early learning standards Foster a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment Support social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress Interventionist (0.5 FTE): Provide targeted academic and/or behavioral interventions to students in need Work with individuals and small groups to support skill development Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and support staff Maintain accurate documentation of interventions and outcomes Build relationships and partnerships with early childhood families. Qualifications: Bachelor''s degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or related field Valid teaching license (or ability to obtain) Experience working with young children preferred Knowledge of intervention strategies and data-driven instruction Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience with early childhood special education or intervention programs Familiarity with assessment tools and progress monitoring Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs Salary: $40,788 - $75,671 - Based on the Le Sueur-Henderson Education Association''s Master Agreement.
