POSITION TITLE : District Assessment Coordinator and Administrative Assistant REPORTS TO : Director of Teaching and Learning POSITION OBJECTIVE: To directly or indirectly assist and support students and teachers as it aligns with the mission, vision, pillars of DaVinci Academy. RESPONSIBILITIES : District Assessment Coordinator (DAC) Serves as the state designated District Assessment Coordinator (DCA) and leads all standardized assessments measuring proficiency and growth. Coordinates scheduling, training, and security for state and national assessments. Manages data systems (e.g., FastBridge, PearsonAccess Next). Ensures all assessment administrations meet state, federal, and local requirements; manages testing materials. Provides professional development for staff on assessment protocols. Manages and maintains assessment data management systems and administers accounts and permissions. Prepares reports, lists, and other required informational data requested by administration and/or teaching staff. Supports administrators and teachers in implementing and analyzing state and district assessments and interpreting reports. Disseminates standardized assessment reports to administration, school staff, teachers, and parents. Oversees vendor relations and acts as a liaison between assessment vendors, the Minnesota Department of Education, and school staff. Administrative Assistant Provides administrative support to school leadership and office personnel to facilitate day-to-day operations; schedules meetings, appointments, and school events. Prepares correspondence, reports, forms, and other documents. Performs general clerical and recordkeeping duties, including copying, faxing, filing, and handling mailings. Communicates school information and procedures to families and staff. Assists with organizing school events, meetings, and activities. Coordinates logistics for conferences and school programs. Assists in the upkeep of office equipment by clearing paper jams, scheduling maintenance, and ensuring adequate supplies are stocked. Assists at the front desk as needed. This position will be cross-trained with the Lead Administrative Assistant to ensure consistent coverage during breaks, sick time, and paid time off (PTO). Assist the 504 Coordinator with testing accommodations and paperwork. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Education: BA/BS degree Working knowledge of MN State Assessments (e.g., MCAs) and nationwide assessments (e.g., FastBridge, Capti ReadBasix), preferred. Effective and demonstrated skills in the following: administering assessments; collection, analysis, and use of data for decision-making; leadership; working collaboratively with various groups within the school; presenting to small and large groups for staff development. Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience using Google Classroom. Willingness to identify, interpret, and follow school policies and procedures. Show initiative and function as a self-starter. Physical demands: able to stand for long periods of time. Position Information: Salary Range: The 2026-2027 salary range for this position is $42,024 to $79,568.00. Salary offers will consider the candidate''s experience, education, skills, and DaVinci Academy''s budget. Experienced candidates should expect a salary offer around the midpoint of the salary range. In exceptional cases, salaries exceeding the midpoint may be offered to attract candidates for hard-to-fill positions or those with specialized skills. Such decisions will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
