Our school district annually educates more than 4,000 students and employs more than 750 staff members. Qualifications Valid Minnesota Teaching License in Special Education; ASD or ABS licensure. We are looking for a team-oriented individual who is comfortable and experienced working with students exhibiting challenging behaviors in both mainstream and center-based settings. Prefer experience with special education evaluation. Summary of Duties Work closely with school administration, teachers, and support staff to address behavioral concerns. Create, implement, and train Tier 2 and Tier 3 behavior interventions. Create, maintain, and analyze data of continuous monitoring of student performance and progress. Participate in Child Study Team (CST) planning, evaluating, and programming for students. Provide work direction and training to the Educational Assistants. Knowledge of the process for completing Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and implementation of Positive Behavior Intervention Plans (PBIPs) to address challenging behaviors. Actively participates in trainings and staff meetings as deemed appropriate. Communicates with teachers regarding programs and materials to meet student needs Other duties as assigned.
