Area Special Education Cooperative (ASEC) is proud to serve 11 member school districts in northwestern Minnesota. The cooperative supports Ada-Borup-West, Climax-Shelly, East Grand Forks, Fertile-Beltrami, Fisher, Fosston, Red Lake County Central, Red Lake Falls, Stephen-Argyle Central, Warren-Alvarado-Oslo, and Win-E-Mac. POSITION SUMMARY: School-based Occupational Therapists (OTs) utilize meaningful activities (occupations) to assist children and youth in participating in educational activities essential for promoting physical and mental health and well-being. Employing a collaborative model, school-based occupational therapy addresses the physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and sensory aspects of performance. OTs aim to support student growth in academics, play and leisure, social participation, self-care skills (Activities of Daily Living or ADLs), and transition/work skills. Their expertise includes analyzing and modifying activities and environments to reduce participation barriers. Occupational therapy in schools is delivered through a collaborative approach. 180-Day Contract Flexible Assignment based on the location of residence Competitive compensation based on on level of education and full years of licensed experience.   • 180-Day Contract

  • Flexible Assignment based on the location of residence 

  • Competitive compensation based on on level of education and full years of licensed experience. SALARY RANGE: $48,719 – $90,145/annually based on the 2026/27 master contract salary schedule

  • Mileage provided at current Internal Revenue Service rate
