AVAILABLE POSITION – LICENSED SCHOOL NURSE

Job Summary – Under the direction of the Superintendent, the Licensed School Nurse is responsible for providing professional nursing services to advance the well-being, academic success, and lifelong achievements of all students. The School Nurse facilitates and promotes health and safety; intervenes with actual and potential health problems; performs health care assessments, interventions, and develops individual health care plans; administers medication; performs prescribed treatment; provides case management services; and collaborates with other professionals to address student health and needs.
Qualifications – Registered Nurse by the Board of Nursing and Licensed as a School Nurse by the MN Department of Education. Must have a valid Minnesota driver’s license. Requires a minimum of 1-3 years of nursing and/or public health experience.
Start Date – As agreed upon; 2025-26 School Year
Compensation Package – Position Classification BA-1 offers a starting salary of $51,776.00 to $86,485.28 based on experience. Additionally, a benefits package is available that includes health insurance, life insurance, long-term disability, dental insurance, vision insurance, and 403b retirement plan. The contract will be a 225-day schedule; 185 days during the school year and 40 days during the summer months.
