The ideal candidate will be committed to supporting students with diverse needs, working collaboratively with staff and families, and fostering a supportive learning environment where every student can succeed. Responsibilities: Provide specialized instruction to students with IEPs in a variety of settings. Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans in accordance with state and federal guidelines. Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and service providers to support student learning and inclusion. Conduct assessments to determine student needs and progress. Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress, challenges, and strategies. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with due process requirements. Participate/facilitate IEP meetings, professional development, and school initiatives. Qualifications: Required: Valid Minnesota teaching license in Special Education (or eligibility to obtain). Bachelor?s degree in Special Education or a related field. Strong knowledge of IDEA, IEP processes, and evidence-based instructional strategies. Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills. Preferred: Experience working with students with a range of disabilities at the secondary level. Familiarity with co-teaching and inclusive practices. Knowledge of assistive technology and adaptive tools.
