Saints Peter & Paul Child Care Operations & Enrollment Manager Saints Peter & Paul Child Care in Richmond, MN is seeking a part-time (20 hours per week) Operations & Enrollment Manager. This role offers the potential to expand into a full-time position by combining administrative responsibilities with up to 20 additional hours in the classroom, based on candidate interest and qualifications. Position Summary: The Operations & Enrollment Manager plays a key role in the daily functioning of the child care program, ensuring smooth operations, strong communication, and a welcoming experience for families and staff. This position works closely with leadership and is responsible for overseeing enrollment, compliance, and day-to-day operational needs. Schedule & Pay This position will have set weekly hours, and all hours must be present on-site. 20 hours a week, Monday through Friday, Year-Round $25 per hour Primary Responsibilities: Operations & Compliance Maintain licensing compliance and complete all required documentation Ensure facility meets safety and regulatory standards Serve as a point of contact for state licensors Maintain and update policies and the family handbook Track and record yearly staff licensing requirements and required trainings Enrollment & Family Engagement Lead all enrollment processes, including tours, onboarding, and records Manage waitlists and new family communication Support family education and classroom communication Address and help resolve family concerns in a timely, respectful way Manage Parent Aware Leadership & Supervision Supervise and support the Operations Assistant and Classroom/Staff Lead Ensure clear roles, accountability, and follow-through across the leadership team Lead regular check-ins and maintain consistent weekly communication Help plan and lead team meetings alongside the leadership team Staff & Program Coordination Partner with the Classroom/Staff Lead on hiring and staffing needs Coordinate and schedule staff trainings and onboarding Ensure staff meet ongoing training and licensing requirements Administrative & Financial Oversight Manage billing processes and family accounts Verify payroll for accuracy Review Visa statements and track program expenses Coordinate the purchasing of supplies and materials Complete bank deposits, mail, and other administrative tasks Program Communication & Oversight Serve as a Board representative as needed Ensure consistent communication across operations, classrooms, and families Oversee day-to-day program needs and problem-solve as issues arise Logistics & Daily Operations Manage supplies and shopping for program needs Coordinate the movement of materials between school, church, and program Handle daily operational details to keep the program running smoothly Performs other duties as assigned to support organizational needs. Position Summary:

Schedule & Pay

20 hours a week, Monday through Friday, Year-Round
$25 per hour

Primary Responsibilities:

Operations & Compliance

  • Maintain licensing compliance and complete all required documentation

  • Ensure facility meets safety and regulatory standards

  • Serve as a point of contact for state licensors

  • Maintain and update policies and the family handbook

  • Track and record yearly staff licensing requirements and required trainings

Enrollment & Family Engagement

  • Lead all enrollment processes, including tours, onboarding, and records

  • Manage waitlists and new family communication

  • Support family education and classroom communication

  • Address and help resolve family concerns in a timely, respectful way

  • Manage Parent Aware

Leadership & Supervision

  • Supervise and support the Operations Assistant and Classroom/Staff Lead

  • Ensure clear roles, accountability, and follow-through across the leadership team

  • Lead regular check-ins and maintain consistent weekly communication

  • Help plan and lead team meetings alongside the leadership team

Staff & Program Coordination

  • Partner with the Classroom/Staff Lead on hiring and staffing needs

  • Coordinate and schedule staff trainings and onboarding

  • Ensure staff meet ongoing training and licensing requirements

Administrative & Financial Oversight

  • Manage billing processes and family accounts

  • Verify payroll for accuracy

  • Review Visa statements and track program expenses

  • Coordinate the purchasing of supplies and materials

  • Complete bank deposits, mail, and other administrative tasks

Program Communication & Oversight

  • Serve as a Board representative as needed

  • Ensure consistent communication across operations, classrooms, and families

  • Oversee day-to-day program needs and problem-solve as issues arise

Logistics & Daily Operations

  • Manage supplies and shopping for program needs

  • Coordinate the movement of materials between school, church, and program

  • Handle daily operational details to keep the program running smoothly

  • Performs other duties as assigned to support organizational needs.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred in Management, Early Childhood Education, or a related field

  • Experience in child care, school, or program administration preferred

  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills

  • Ability to supervise, prioritize, and problem-solve effectively

  • Understanding of (or willingness to learn) state licensing requirements
