Summer School Details: 6/8/26-6/24/26 M-Th (12 Total Days) Staff Hours: 7:30AM - 3:00PM, Student Hours: 8:00AM - 2:25PM (32 Hours Per Week on Timesheet) Teachers will teach/prepare for three (3) 2-Hour Periods a Day 2026 Summer School will be comprehensive, not packet/Edmentum based. Teachers will be asked to teach three (3) - 1:55 Hour classes; this may include as many as three (3) different courses. Comprehensive means these classes are teacher designed, and led (like a traditional High School class). Curriculum must be condensed to reflect the 1:55 Hour, 12 day schedule. Curriculum must be designed by the teacher, any purchased curriculum needs will be identified before the start of Summer School. Positions/Licenses Needed: Multiple teachers from each of the following license areas may be needed: Social Studies ELA Math (All Levels) Science (Biology / Physical Science / Chemistry or Physics) PhyEd/Health Art / CTE / Other Elective Special Education Counselor *All staffing is subject to student referrals, and needs. You may be offered a position, but as referrals/registrations come in April/May staffing needs may change. Summary of Duties: Strength in developing positive, trusting, relationships with students, families and staff. Provide engaging lessons with the use of hands on learning strategies, collaboration, and technology. Empower students with positive encouragement and supportive approaches to ensure growth. Differentiates curriculum to a wide range of learners in a smaller setting environment. Utilize a strength based approach with a "not there yet" mentality. Shows commitment to stay current with best practices and professional development in mathematics.
